So the dust has settled on another NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, an event that I've been exhibiting at since 2005 and what a show it was! While overall visitor numbers felt a bit lower than in years past, the energy on the show floor was most certainly electric especially on the Saturday. As always, the event was a fantastic opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new connections, and showcase our world class instruments.

The reaction to JET GuitarsSpira Guitars, and Flight Ukuleles was nothing short of phenomenal. From longtime industry veterans to fresh-faced enthusiasts, the positive buzz around our brands was undeniable. We met with many of our valued customers from around the globe and were thrilled to welcome new distributors and dealers, opening doors to exciting new markets for all three brands.

It’s always reassuring to see that our passion for innovation and quality resonates with partners worldwide. Even the wonderful Fender UK team magically appeared on the booth like a team of highly trained ninja assassins to check out JET and Spira, professing they weren’t “spying” but just having a look… still, it’s a nice compliment when the biggest name in the industry is curious about what you’re doing!

On top of all the guitar and ukulele action, I also had productive meetings with several big-name brands who want to join the rapidly evolving reSound Market, keen to use the platform as their trusted, go-to marketplace for ex-demo stock and more. Keep your eyes peeled—there’s a wealth of killer developments and partnerships on the horizon.

One thing I did find slightly odd this year was the shorter show schedule—finishing on Saturday meant there wasn’t a Sunday to wander around and explore other booths! I was so busy on our own stand that I didn’t have a chance to see what else was out there. Despite the change, the energy remained high, and most of our key customers were still there in force, making it more than worthwhile.

For me one of the real joys of NAMM is putting faces to names— so a big thank you to everyone who sought me out to say hello, try some guitars and have a chat. It’s moments like these that remind me how tight-knit and supportive our MI community really is. Also a special thanks to all the LinkedIn connections who stopped by to say hi. It’s always amazing to put faces to the names we see on our screens every day!

Now that we’re back home, it’s time for a big sleep before dealing with my overflowing inbox. We have fresh leads, new partnerships, and big plans to put into action. There’s an undeniable sense of momentum, and we can’t wait to see how these opportunities unfold in the coming months.

If you were at the show what were the highlights for you? If you managed to see more of the show, what did I miss? I’d love to hear about any standout brands/booths, events, or product launches that might have slipped under my radar!

 Until next year! 🤘🏻😎
